This custom thorough-bred racing yacht is a delight to sail and has a a basic but
comfortable racing fit-out with 8 single berths, one double berth and an enclosed toilet
and shower.
Her large cockpit and deck area offer great day sailing or while her fit-out makes living
aboard easy for those with a bit of adventure in their blood.
A veteran of Admirals, Southern Cross Cups, and many Sydney-Hobarts, she is extremely
competitive and a proven race winner on IRC.
She has been well maintained and upgraded with a new keel in 1998 and mast in 2000.
The yacht is Thai Registered so able to be used for charter in Thailand.

These boats were designed for simple, exhilarating sailing pleasure. They perform
superbly in strong conditions and yet are fast and responsive in light airs. The Platu also
has provided thrilling sailing for crews at all levels of experience.
Both boats were stripped, sprayed and had a total refit in Nov. 2005 when all new standing
rigging and hi-tech cored running rigging was installed. They have done only two King's
Cups since.
