Cruises in Paradise
Discover the Islands and Beaches of Paradise
Our Adventure cruises are programmed to let you experience the beautiful islands, beaches and features of our uniquely beautiful sailing area.
They are designed so people with little or no sailing experience can sail with us and discover not only the beauty of the area but the joys of life under sail.
We have suggested itineraries and we are happy to modify them either before you leave or you can discuss changes with our captain while on-board.
To enhance your experience, and space, we supply a skipper, who will assist and encourage you to participate in sailing the yacht; taking the wheel, hoisting and trimming the sails etc.
You will be expected to help out with the tasks of life on board.
Courses can be run during the sail but need to be pre-arranged as this requires one of our instructional staff to be on board (see below).
Our existing programs run from 3 Days to 9 Days:
We are planning a program to the Similan Islands to start late in 2009.
Life on Board
Accommodation on the yachts is in double cabins or the really adventurous can choose to sleep under the stars on deck.
More information on each yacht can be found at http://www.sailing-thailand.com/Our_Fleet.html
We aim to sail but occasionally wind conditions may preclude maintaining the required speed so we have to use the motor.
Meals
We supply breakfast and lunch every day and dinner onboard. At many of our anchorages, there is an incredible range of food available at prices to suit every budget. Dinner ashore, which is at your expense, gives you time to explore & enjoy the nightlife. A dinghy service runs back to the boat at intervals to midnight. If you miss the last run, you can either find a local boat to bring you out or we'll pick you up on the beach in the morning.
In our years of sailing here, we have found that the vast majority of our clients favour fruit juice, fresh fruit, bread / croissants and coffee for breakfast so this is what we supply. Lunch is salads or sandwiches with fresh fruit and drinks. Dinners are a selection of Thai Dishes with Rice, with fresh fruit and Drinks.
If you have special dietary requirements or food allergies please advise us when you book and we’ll do our best to cater for you.
Drinking Water, Fruit Juice and Soft Drinks
These are supplied on board free of charge. You will get a preference form after booking that should ensure we cater for your tastes and requirements.
Snorkeling
You can bring your own equipment or pick some up at our base prior to departure. This will be yours to use during the trip. You'll pay a small returnable bond for this which will be repaid on safe return. Snorkeling is generally a safe activity. If you suffer from or have suffered Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Asthma, Shortness of breath (when exercising), Emphysema, Fits/Faints, Diabetes, High OR Low Blood Pressure, Lung Disease or Recent Head Injury, you should take special precautions and inform us on booking.
Bedding and Linen
Fresh linen, hand towel and a shower towel are provided for each passenger and will be waiting on your bunk.
Smoking Cigarettes
Smoking is only permitted on deck.
Airport/Hotel Pick-ups
We can provide these so please advise your requirements and group size when booking.
Accommodation and Transportation on Phuket
Our page http://www.sailing-thailand.com/Where_to_Stay_on_Phuket.html gives you a list of the various resorts and hotels that offer special rates to our clients when you book through us. There are a wide variety of places available on the island; if you don't find something through us that suits, a web search should provide you ample alternatives.
Personal Gear
As the places we visit are really casual, and the stowage space on yacht is limited; we suggest you bring T-Shirts, Bathers, Shorts, Strap Sandals, light weatherproof jacket, Beach Towel, Toiletries, Sunglasses, Hat and Sunscreen in a small soft bag. Hard shelled or Wheeled bags will not be permitted on board.
It is unusual for it to rain in the period that we run these cruises but if it is likely, we can hire you a wet weather jacket if you don't have one. Please note that our insurance does not cover personal effects so please be sure to take special care of them. Under no circumstances can we accept liability. We strongly recommend that all passengers have travel insurance.
Ashore in Thailand
Men going bare-chested or women wearing bikini tops, anywhere but on the beach, is deemed to be bad manners. You will see plenty of people doing it but you'll find a warmer local reception if you don't.
Courses
Sailing Courses can be run in conjunction with these sails but require advance notice and are not guaranteed to be available.
Diversions
Should we have to divert from our planned route due to safety, please be understanding and we'll do our best to ensure your trip is minimally effected.
Scuba Diving
Due to the remote nature of our area, safety issues and our insurance preclude Scuba diving from our vessel.

We will send you a booking form on request. To book, please complete the form and send us a 50% deposit which can be paid on-line http://www.sailing-thailand.com/payment.php or by completing the credit card authority on the booking form. We will confirm the booking and send you a preference form. Please check conditions and disclaimers on our Booking Form.
